The global luxury hotel brand Anantara is heading to Miami. Developer One Thousand Group has announced Anantara Miami Resort & Residences, a 50-story tower planned for Edgewater with an expected opening in 2030. It will mark the brand’s first U.S. location — the same Anantara that gained wider American recognition from its appearance in HBO’s The White Lotus.
One Thousand Group is developing the project in partnership with Minor Hotels, the Thailand-based hospitality company that owns the Anantara brand. The tower will rise roughly 650 feet above Biscayne Bay, with sales through ONE Sotheby’s International Realty expected to launch later this year.
Anantara Miami Resort & Residences will include:
- 120 private branded condominium residences
- All resort residences eligible for hotel use
- 54 hotel suites
- 50-story tower rising approximately 650 feet above Biscayne Bay
- Dedicated vitality and longevity centre
- Private rooftop helipad

The wellness concept is a defining feature, with programming drawn from ancient healing traditions alongside modern approaches to movement, nutrition, and recovery. The rooftop helipad is a signature element of One Thousand Group developments, carried over from One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid Architects.

Architecture is by Kohn Pedersen Fox and ODP Architecture & Design, with interiors by Patricia Urquiola — her first residential project in the United States.
Minor Hotels positioned Miami as the natural launch point for Anantara’s American debut. The brand operates more than 50 resorts worldwide and incorporates the Thai concept of “nam jai” — a philosophy of generosity and heartfelt service — into its hospitality approach.
The site sits at the crossroads of Edgewater, the Design District, and Wynwood, with panoramic northern views over Biscayne Bay. Cultural institutions nearby include the Pérez Art Museum Miami, the Frost Science Museum, and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Pricing has not been announced.
